Just Start Driving

An introduction of sorts… 

Returning to the blogging world, I complained to my husband, “I don’t know who I’m writing for.  I don’t even know what I’m writing about!  I don’t know what lane I’m in.”  He looked up at me.  

“Just start driving.  You’ll find your lane.”

This is terrible automotive advice, but decent writing advice.  

Just start driving.  You’ll find your lane.  

So here we are.  I’m returning to the blogging realm after a few years away.  Adding a second kid to the mix, subtracting a job, and multiplying the stress with a move, pandemic, and homeschooling.  Am I writing about faith?  Sort of.  Am I writing about parenting?  Sort of.  Am I writing about kids and homeschooling?  Maybe.  This blog doesn’t have a catchy name or sponsors or really even a target audience.  (I’m not even sure how Google analytics works)  But here we are.  It’s just me.  Writing.  Sharing some of my life and my thoughts with you, as if we could sit across from each other at a coffee shop.  Maybe a topic will resonate with you, and it will spark deeper conversation.  Maybe it won’t, and we’ll move on to another subject.  Either way — let’s go for a drive.
